BaseCamp + Cahaba Cycles
Retail renovation turns cycling shop into a hip, interactive hangout.
Project Details
In 2023, Barrett Kent gave the BaseBamp building in Pelham, Alabama, a fresh, new look so that Cahaba Cycles and Taco Mac could coexist in one cohesive space.
The wrap-around breezeway is the highlight of this project. While the fire pit provides a cool spot for locals to hang out, the pocket park gives kids and pets a fun place to play.
By incorporating a mix of wood, metal, glass, and hand-painted signage, we gave this space the young, modern vibe that appealed to their customers and complemented the beautiful location.
