Shoal Creek Residence

Our client desired an elegant home that connected to the outdoors. They purchased a large forested lot in the Shoal Creek Golf Club, just south of Birmingham. The plan concept for the home is both formal in its symmetry and organization, and casual and comfortable in the way the spaces flow together.

The arrangement of rooms allows for views out into the courtyard spaces on one side of the house and into the wild forested landscape of Dunnavant Valley on the other side. The living spaces are open and connected to both adjacent interior and exterior spaces. Unique details include custom island and stair details, developed with Dana Wolter Interiors.
